Class Experience

US Grade 9
This class is the first part in a 6 unit course that teaches a 9th Grade curriculum of math, reading, writing, grammar/phonics, and spelling. Math and English topics will rotate throughout the year for review and practice. Unit 1 is 8 weeks long and will cover fundamental concepts for 9th grade. Taken in total, all 6 units will cover a full and in-depth curriculum over the year. 


Students will have a weekly spelling list and lessons in English and Math each week. Homework for extra math, english, and spelling practice will be assigned after each class. Teachers are available to answer any questions and will give feedback on the homework. 


Our lessons are always engaging because education is more than just academics, it is also about the social interactions you have while learning. Our classes include interactive discussions and we use games and other hands-on activities to engage every child in their learning. All of our classes are taught in a 100% inclusive and child-led environment. Our teachers are always inclusive of every child and adapt their teaching style to keep high levels of engagement and progression.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Students will be reading mythology from different world cultures at different points during the class. Some myths contain violence. While we will discuss all views, we will always champion the viewpoint of the oppressed and will tell the truth about all sides.
