What is an Integer? How is it different from a Decimal? How do you place them on a Number Line? These are all questions that will be addressed in this course. Students will review positive and negative numbers and their placement on the number line. We will then cover how to place decimals between integers, answer > and < statements with negatives and create number lines based on specific values such as all numbers less than -2.5. Students will work through sample problems with me and then work individually. Individual problems will be checked for accuracy and discussed in class. No prior knowledge is needed.
