Description
Class Experience
Students will have a better concept of the skills covered in 8th grade/Pre-Algebra curriculum. This will help students prepare for entering Algebra 1, or act as a basic introduction for those entering 8th grade/Pre-Algebra.
Practice problems/activities will be assigned after the first session each week. These problems should take no more than 30 minutes outside of class to complete. This allows students to have independent thinking/practice with the skill that was covered.
- Students will be provided with lesson resources before the beginning of each session. These resources may be printed if a printer is available. If not, students can copy down in a math notebook. - Math Notebook or paper/pencil - If printer is not available, graph paper will be needed for Week 6.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
