This 8-week course will cover the 8th Grade Math Common Core Standards. Students will have homework assigned to them every week. They will have several options to choose from which will include solving real-world problems, creating a presentation to teach the class, or a traditional worksheet. Homework should take no more than 1 hour every week.
Instructors assess students using homework, quizzes, and unit assessments. These assessments will be graded and shared with families via Outschool, and instructors will provide a report card upon completion of the course.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
All third-party tools are used to supplement learning and maximize engagement. No third-party tool will require login information.
