Description
Class Experience
Geometry is a different type of math that often times even students who thrive in previous math classes have trouble. That is because geometry is usually the first time students have had to ever 'study' for math! Geometry is full of proofs, theorems, postulates, and rules that students are required to know BEFORE they can even set up the problems to do the 'math' to solve it. That is why this class is a perfect overview for students to prep over the summer and feel prepared to be successful...
This class is taught in English.
Students will be prepared to be successful in their first semester of high school geometry!
I have my Bachelor's degree in applied mathematics and my Master's degree both from UGA! I taught high school geometry during the pandemic and now have been teaching on Outschool for a year! I love math and sharing problem solving skills and the joy of learning with students on this platform. I hope your student will join us!
Students will be provided optional practice problems that they can complete after each class.
Graphing calculator
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
