Students will learn the fundamentals in figure drawing, basic anatomy, proportions and designer sketches. This class will focus on textile characteristics of winter couture outfits and accessories.
Class Experience
This is an 8-week series. Students meet once every week. There are no meetings during Thanksgiving break from 11/23 - 11/27, and holiday break from 12/21 - 1/2. Class will start with a new dress every other week, except the last two weeks, each week will draw a new dress. Students will learn the tools they need to begin their artistic journey into self-expression, reflection, and creative thinking in the world of fashion illustration. Students will learn basics on creating fashion sketches, anatomy and figure drawing. It is a highly sought-after class for beginners and hobbyists alike, who would like to be future fashion designers, costume designers or fashion illustrators.
