Description

Class Experience

Do you need a guide for your child's 7th grade math learning this year? This course will be perfect! This can be used as a supplement for a child already enrolled in school or as a guide for a student doing homeschooling. As a former 6th grade math teacher I have created a plan for a whole school year learning that will allow one lesson to lead into the next. 

During each class students will be introduced to the topic of the day, some days it will be a continuation of the previous day....

These are lessons that I have taught both in a public school with a class of 30 students and in private tutoring setting, and I have always been able to identify the misconceptions regarding these lessons. This helps me adjust the lesson to individual needs.

Students will not be assigned homework but they are encouraged to use their notes and worksheets to review after each lesson.

Students should have a notebook for this class ready for notes, staying organized is part of being a successful student. Students will also have worksheets to print for used in each class.

Student learning will be assessed as class progresses through questioning and modeling.

3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
