US Grade 7
Welcome to our 7th grade math class! This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of mathematical concepts, problem-solving skills, and real-world applications. This course covers a wide range of topics, including number systems, algebra, geometry, probability, and data analysis. Engagement and relationship-building are an intrigue part of our teaching philosophy. Because of this, the environment is focused on student intrapersonal relationships and lessons...
Analyze proportional relationships and use them to solve real-world and mathematical problems Apply and extend previous understandings of operations with fractions to add, subtract, multiply, and divide rational numbers. Use properties of operations to generate equivalent expressions. Solve real-life and mathematical problems using numerical and algebraic expressions and equations. Draw, construct, and describe geometrical figures and describe the relationships between them. Solve real-life and mathematical problems involving angle measure, area, surface area, and volume. Use random sampling to draw inferences about a population. Draw informal comparative inferences about two populations. Investigate chance processes and develop, use, and evaluate probability models.
Homework Offered
Students will be assigned homework after most classes. It's important that students complete this homework so that the pace of the content can stay on track. Instructor will provide videos to help further understanding with content when needed.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
