Class Experience

US Grade 7
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Students will learn 7th grade math in this 16 week course. This is a full course and this course is great for those who are getting ready to go into 8th grade math. The following topics will be covered:

This class attends live meetings. I will also provide guides and worksheets. Students are expected to attend classes weekly (or watch class recordings if they miss a class) and submit their homework. Homework can be submitted by sending an image/scan/pdf.

Being that this is a 16 week course, this course is fast pace and to get the most of the course practice/homework outside of class through the week before the next meeting is a must. I advise parents to be sure learners are doing their part outside of class. Unit test may be issued on Khan Academy and a final course review will be issued at the end of the course to test the learners on their retainment of information and if they are ready for the next level (8th grade).

This course uses both Khan Academy & outside worksheets. Please message with any questions you may have on this course. Please note, Khan Academy is a free online learning website. The class may also use Google classroom to access recorded videos I provide created by me with me teaching the lesson. These are the same videos for my flexible classes. No communication is done on these other tools with learners/myself. Communication is disabled on these platforms. Watching these videos is NOT required they are just additional videos to have for help such as the videos on Khan of videos learners may find on YouTube on their own if they need to.

Interaction is only done through Outschool and live meetings.

Before taking this class students should of course have a understanding of elementary math such a multiplying, fractions, decimals, division, addition, and subtraction.

If students are struggling in an area I do offer one on one tutoring as well at an additional cost.

Students are welcome to message me at any time with any questions/concerns. PLEASE BE ON TIME! I will leave the meeting after 10 minutes if no one joins.

Parental Guidance
In addition to utilizing Khan Academy, a complimentary online learning platform, this course will incorporate Google classroom for viewing my self-produced lesson videos, which will be similar to my live lessons in classes. YouTube may also be utilized for this purpose, though communication between learners and myself is not possible on either platform due to communication restrictions. All interaction will be conducted exclusively through Outschool and live meetings.
Pre-Requisites
7th-grade math requires a solid grasp of arithmetic, fractions, decimals, geometry, proportions, and basic algebra from 6th grade. Understanding data interpretation and geometric concepts is crucial.
