US Grade 8 - 11
This package includes 7 - one-on-one math tutoring sessions. The sessions will based on the needs of the student and using materials provided by the student or parent. Another way to think of this session is "help with understanding and completing your homework". We will walk through the steps of each problem together, so the student will understand the process more fully. The actual dates and times for this package will be determined when you contact me via the Request Another Time link....
Students will understand the math more fully and will feel much more confident in their skills.
I have Master's in Math Education from Western Governor's University, a Bachelor of Science in Education from Tennessee Technological University, and a teaching license from the State of Tennessee. I have 2 years teaching in a classroom. I also homeschooled my children for 9 years. My experience includes professionally tutoring Math for 12 years and 5 years as an Academic Math Coach at Pellissippi State Community College. I have over 7 years experience tutoring students for the ACT Test in all 4 content areas - English, Math, Reading, Science.
REQUIRED Calculator (Graphing calculator if Algebra or higher - TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition) Paper and pencils. Their textbook if using a textbook. Access to online class that can be screen shared with me on Outschool. White boards, markers and erasers are helpful, but not required.
