Class experience
This 4 week class is designed from the book "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens." This is not a required reading, though it is a great book and it would be great if your student reads it either before or after this class. There will be many realistic examples and discussion in this class. This class is focused on the preteen ages. The goal of this class is to help students learn to communicate effectively, come up with goals, and strive to live their best lives.
I have a M.Ed in Psychology to be a school counselor. I have experience teaching similar subjects on a one on one basis as well as classroom discussions.

Most classes will need paper and a pen or pencil for different activities. It could also be beneficial to take notes during class if student desires.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Though I work very hard to make it age appropriate, there are subjects such as depression and relationships that will be briefly discussed that could be considered "sensitive" material.
