Class Experience

An ongoing class using any "Bedrock" compatible device (Android, iOS, FireOS, Windows 10, Gear VR, Fire TV, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PSVR) to join awesome challenges and projects led by the teacher, "Mister Mark" a former banker and investment advisor who uses Minecraft to teach children about how the world works, through various projects in real-time immersive live "gameplay". For this class, students work in a Minecraft "Realm" called "MisterMarkTV". ***PLEASE NOTE***At times the teacher may need to mute the microphone/audio of students in the ZOOM session to give instructions.

Every class will be devoted to the task of building a community and city inside the realm. Each session will be devoted to real-time gameplay during which intelligence, emotional, social and adversity quotients will be challenged through interaction with their student peers and the direction of the teacher. The student will learn economics, city planning & community building. As this is an ongoing class and parents enroll their students from week to week, each student will be on a different task depending on their length of tenure in the gameplay class. Initially, students will be directed to first build a house and all the essentials to get established in a "survival" mode world. What follows is the development of a community through cooperation with other students in a live setting. The realm has "zoning" or building rules which students are encouraged to follow. Issues of respecting others' Minecraft creations, properties, and projects are also reinforced by the teacher/moderator who interacts through conversations and discussions with the students during gameplay. ***PLEASE NOTE***At times the teacher may need to mute the microphone/audio of students in the ZOOM session to give instructions.
