Get ready to learn 6th-grade vocabulary the fun and easy way! This class is designed for students to navigate independently using audio and visual support. Who is this class for? ~5th graders getting ready for 6th grade ~6th graders ~Students who need a fun, academic class How will students learn the vocabulary words? ~Identify the vocabulary word of the day via decoding activity ~Practice looking for context clues to help identify the meaning of the words ~Watch a video on pronunciation, definition, and examples of words ~Find the correct spelling of the vocabulary word activity ~Students select the sentences with the correct usage of the word ~Create and type up your own vocabulary sentences (real-world application) ~Review all vocabulary words with a word search, fill in the blank (Mad Libs style), hear the definition, and choose the correct vocabulary word escape room! ~And more! Vocabulary Word #1
Students will decode the first vocabulary word, practice context clues to determine its meaning, learn the definition and examples of its use, and complete activities that will effectively teach students the vocabulary word of the day.
Lesson 2:
Vocabulary Word #2
Students will decode the second vocabulary word, practice context clues to determine its meaning, learn the definition and examples of its use, and complete activities that will effectively teach students the vocabulary word of the day, plus review vocabulary words 1 &2.
Lesson 3:
Vocabulary Word #3
Students will decode the third vocabulary word, practice context clues to determine its meaning, learn the definition and examples of its use, and complete activities that will effectively teach students the vocabulary word of the day, plus review vocabulary words 1 through 3.
Lesson 4:
Vocabulary Word #4
Students will decode the fourth vocabulary word, practice context clues to determine its meaning, learn the definition and examples of its use, and complete activities that will effectively teach students the vocabulary word of the day, plus review vocabulary words 1 through 4.
