Class Experience

Welcome to 6th Grade Math where students will learn and review their objectives in a fun and engaging way by using Nearpod!

This class is perfect for students who are entering 6th grade or want a review on the 6th grade math objectives

Every lesson will be taught as if it was new to the student to ensure that they understand the material. The lesson will be fun and engaging as they will get to play fun games to reinforce the lesson, do activities like drag and drop activities and many more...

All of our teachers are trained in our Math curriculum to ensure the success of our students

Kahoot game will be given as reinforcement. A 5 problem worksheet will also be given and students may send it back for personalized feedback.

STUDENTS WILL BE ACCESSING NEARPOD THROUGH THEIR COMUPUTER OR SEPERATE DEVICE IF POSSIBLE

IF STUDENTS USE THE LINK THROUGH THEIR COMPUTER THEY WILL BE ABLE TO HEAR ME, BUT NOT SEE ME SO A SEPARATE DEVICE SUCH AS A TABLET IS RECOMMENDED BUT NOT REQUIRED

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Nearpod
Kahoot

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Please note that students do not need to create an account to access Nearpod. A link will be given to access the lesson prior to class and at the beginning of the class.

For Kahoot students will not need to create an account. Students will receive a free link after class where they can access the reinforcement game if they wish
