US Grade 6
This is 6th grade 18 week curriculum that is aligned with US national standards for the second half of the school year. It would be great as a review for 6th-7th grade students who need a little extra help or advanced 4-5th grade students who want to be challenged. This is a traditional math class taught similar to class at school. Great for homeschoolers too! Contact me if you need a specific time scheduled and I can try to accommodate you! The class prior to this progression would be Singapore Dimensions Math 6A. While it isn't a pre-requisite, I do recommend it if you have not had 6th grade math prior to this class. Please contact me for the pricing and information if you would like a customized class created for you. PRICING DISCOUNT: The posted price is to guarantee the class with no minimum students and it will not be cancelled. In group settings, all learners will have many opportunities to practice each skill individually and corrections will be made to ensure comprehension. Participation will ensure understanding. In 1:1 settings, pacing is customized for your student ensuring the best understanding and retention of skills. In addition to the live meetings, if requested, an independent practice activity will be posted after each meeting so that students can practice learned skills independently. This is from the corresponding workbook and some students prefer to purchase this rather than printing worksheets. These outside of class activities are optional but encouraged as part of the class experience.
