Class Experience

US Grade 6
Welcome to the 6th Math: First SEMESTER

This class is taught through practice with the teacher and students taking turns to solve equations. Mastering Math concepts takes time and it is a process that requires patience. Before enrolling the student, they must be fluent in addition and subtraction of double digits. We take pride in the brilliance our students portray in mastering math skills. It is not a small feat, once you learn how long-term memory is stored in the brain. We are here to facilitate that.

Mastering Math concepts takes time and it is a process that requires patience to:-
- Introduce the concept.
- Practice, practice, and practice some more.
- Master the concept.
- Teach another person.
We keep the class small on purpose so that each student gets the attention they deserve.

How the Class is taught
In the first 10 minutes, a math topic is introduced with vocabulary, different examples, and formulas.
Then next 10 minutes, students will take turns working through problems with the teacher through the scaffolding method.
Then, for another 10 minutes, students practice alone using what they have learned so far.
The last 10 minutes, we review the lesson and give tips on how to tackle homework.
