6th Grade Math Review Camp Part 2
In this class, the students will be learning about fractions, perimeter/area of rectangles, circles, and circumference, the volume of rectangle prisms and cylinders.

US Grade 6
This class is a good fit for students that have completed 5th Grade Math and want to get a head start for the next school term. This class is also a good fit for students that have completed 6th Grade Math but want to review those critical skills taught during the school year. Lessons will be taught using the Zoom whiteboard. I will be using the I do, we do, you do strategy for the lessons. The students will be given individual time to complete problems on the whiteboard to show understanding. The lessons taught will be: 1.Add/Subtract Fractions 2. Add/Subtract Mixed Numbers 3. Subtraction with Renaming 4. Perimeter and Area of Rectangles 5. Areas of Parallelograms and Rectangles 6. Circles and Circumference 7. Area of a Circle 8. Surface Areas of Prisms and Cylinders 9. Volume of Rectangle Prisms and Cylinders 10. Review and Assessment ***Students will not be transferred to different sections once the class has started. The class recording will be available for any missed classes.***
