Do you need a guide for your child's 6th grade math learning this year? This course will be perfect! This can be used as a supplement for a child already enrolled in school or as a guide for a student doing homeschooling. As a former 6th grade math teacher I have created a plan for a whole school year learning that will allow one lesson to lead into the next. During each class students will be introduced to the topic of the day, some days it will be a continuation of the previous day. Students will be required to take notes daily and a worksheet for guided and independent practice will be provided for each day of class. Students will end class with a good set of notes to use to review. Anything that must be printed will be uploaded to the classroom tab on the Saturday before the Monday of that week of class. This is a 20 day course, class will take place from Monday- Thursday (4 times a week for 5 weeks) Once your child is enrolled in the class they will have access to a detailed list of topics covered each of the 20 days of this quarter. Here is an overview of what topics will be covered. Review of basic multiplication and division Classification of real numbers Conversion between Fraction, Decimals and Percents Ordering Rational Numbers Multiplying and Dividing Decimals Multiplying and Dividing Fractions Finding missing percents, parts and whole amounts Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying and Dividing Integers

Teacher expertise and credentials
These are lessons that I have taught both in a public school with a class of 30 students and in private tutoring setting, and I have always been able to identify the misconceptions regarding these lessons. This helps me adjust the lesson to individual needs.
