I Can: 1. Fluently divide decimals. 2. Use ratio and rate reasoning to calculate unit rate. 3. Use ratio and rate reasoning to solve real-world and mathematical problems. 5. Solve real-world problems involving division of fractions by fractions. 6. Graph and find vertical/horizontal distances on a coordinate plane. 7. Write, read and evaluate expressions in which letters stand for numbers. 8. Generate equivalent expressions using properties of operations. 9. Solve real-world and mathematical problems by writing and solving one-step equations with rational numbers. 10. Represent and analyze quantitative relationships between dependent and independent variables. 11. Calculate the area to sole real-world and mathematical problems. 12. Develop an understanding of statistics, line plots, histograms and box plots. 13. Use my knowledge of geometry to determine volume and are of 3D objects.

Homework Offered
Students will have homework assigned to them every week. They will have several options to choose from which will include solving real world problems, creating a presentation to teach the class or a traditional worksheet. Homework should take no more than 45 minutes every week.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
