US Grade 6
In this weekly class, students will learn sixth grade math skills! I love creating an engaging and fun environment online for students to enjoy learning math! This class meets three times per week, for 35 minutes each time! In each class, I will explain the math skill! Next, students will practice it with me in a guided fashion! We will talk about each step together! I love messaging families after each class to share what students learned; I will send you an update to share about your student's learning! Here is a sample schedule! If you would like your child to learn different topics, please send me a message and we can tailor the schedule according to your child's needs! Week of April 8: Place value of whole numbers and decimals and rounding whole numbers and decimals Week of April 15: Addition of whole numbers and decimals Week of April 22: Subtraction of whole numbers and decimals Week of April 29: Multiplication of whole numbers and decimals Week of May 6: Division of whole numbers and decimals Week of May 13: Illustrate fractions and decimals with models and number lines, add and subtract fractions Week of May 20: Convert fractions to decimals Week of May 27: Review If your child is in a different grade level or different age group, please send me a message with your availability and I will send you an enrollment link to a class for that age group! If you would like to enroll in this class at a different time of day or different day of the week, please also send a message! This class begins in April; if you would like to start in a different month, please let me know! This class is a weekly recurring class, and it automatically enrolls each week. Please let me know if you prefer a different format, such as a class that does not automatically enroll again! I will send a weekly homework packet that can be printed; if you would benefit from any other printable materials, please let me know! I look very forward to working with you and your family!
