Description

Class Experience

The students in this class will learn how to write fractions as decimals. The students will also learn how to change decimals to percents. Prior knowledge of fractions, division, and multiplication is necessary for this class. A quick review of basic multiplication facts will be completed prior to the lesson. On the whiteboard the students will be given a fraction and then using the I do, we do, you do strategy I will demonstrate to the students how to change the fraction to a decimal using...

At the end of this class the students will be able to convert fractions to decimals and percents.

I have my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching 5th grade Math for 10 years. Prior to that I was a 6th grade Math teacher.
