Florida Teaching Certificate in Mathematics
Hello! My name is Cristina Miller, and I am originally from Brazil. I earned my Master’s Degree in Education in 2010 from Grand Canyon University, Arizona, and went to teach elementary Math - grades 3, 4, and 5. I currently teach 6th grade Math in a public school in Florida, USA. I am certified to teach Math in grades K through 9th grade.

I can teach both in English and Portuguese from Brazil. My love for Math started when I was in 4th grade, and it was all because of my teacher. She challenged me to think outside the box and see numbers and patterns in so many different ways. As a teacher, I would love to be that teacher that helps students explore their thinking skills, grow their confidence in Math, and learn to love it as much as I do! If you think I would be a good choice for your child, I would love to have them in one of my classes! I look forward to sharing my passion for Math with students from all over the world!
