Description

Class Experience

We will be meeting 5 times a week for one and a half hours a day to cover and review sixth grade English and Science standards. We are excited to offer this pod opportunity to really get to know our families and learners. These pods are capped at eight learners to ensure small group instruction and interaction. 

*English Language Arts / ELA: We will cover the 6th grade ELA standards through fun activities like:
- Character Analysis of comic book superheroes and villains through classical...

The students will have their 6th grade standards covered in this course and so much more!

We have certified educators and college professors to work with you to build the perfect curriculum for your learners.

With this being apart of core curriculum, there is the expectation that homework will be completed and submitted so that our teachers can assess and ensure we are getting our students to mastery level of these standards.

Sometimes a second device can be helpful to allow for completion of Kahoots and writing tasks while still being able to see the meeting full screen. Notebook and pencil. We will provide and online fulfillable forms throughout the classes.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Kahoot

There will be notes and guidance on the students work to help ensure they get to mastery. If a grade is requested, we can do that.

7 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

Our own curated curriculum with source text such as middleschoolchemistry.com, DC and Marvel Comics, DND Guides, Shakespeare and much more.
