1 hour per week. Before each meetings, students are expected to study vocabulary and/or grammar/expression we learned previously. This way we use the class time efficiently for activities such as interpersonal speaking and collaborative writing.Class Experience

The first meeting of the week will be conducted with expectations of students having studied the vocabulary, so we can practice the applications of the newly introduced material. Second meeting of the week will be conducted with more in-depth application of the new material and speaking practice with classmates or with myself (depending on the number of enrollment). ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: How will you teach? ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: On zoom through Outschool platform. External resources such as Quizlet for vocabulary decks, Padlet for simple application assignments, and Google Drive/Slide/Forms/Spreadsheet for collaborative work with classmates for between classes assignments. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: What's your teaching style? ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Easy-going, but perhaps because of the subject I teach, most students are really respectful, which I truly appreciate. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: How much will learners get to interact with you and each other (mention specifics like: lecture, games, slides, video clips, discussion)? ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Learning a foreign language is all about interaction!! There will be interactive class activities for informal assessments. Pair activities/assignments are designed to develop each student's 21st century skills such as collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. If you are a home school student who is looking for a formal assignment grades, I will be happy to work with you (but I need to know what is expected). ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Any required experience or knowledge learners need? ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Completion of 6wks Class 01, or all of hiragana, numbers, some ideas of how to use adjectives in Japanese.

Students need a free Quizlet account created before the class to have access to vocabulary you will learn from the class. But the lists on Quizlet are offered as an extra supplemental materials. The good old fashion way of taking your notes is always recommended.
