Students will: *Develop a model to describe that matter is made of particles too small to be seen. *Make observations and measurements to identify materials based on their properties. *Conduct an investigation to determine whether the mixing of two or more substances results in new substances. *Support an argument that the gravitational force exerted by Earth on objects is directed down.
This course will not include homework outside of class. *If you would like additional assignments/homework for your learner, please feel free to reach out to me.
Learners will be sent a detailed supply list broken down by class upon enrollment.
Learners will be assessed throughout the class by informal questioning and informal observations during activities. We will also complete a weekly practice quiz to review content.
