Leaves of Learning Academy has a few selected teachers teaching this specialized math camp, teachers who are truly experts with the 5th grade learner, curriculum, and research-based instructional strategies. We do not teach our learners to memorize mathematics. We work to build a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. That is what leads to long term retention of skills, strategies and concepts. 98%-100% of our 4th graders pass the Ohio Standardized Math Assessment every spring, the OST (Ohio State Test.)
