US Grade 5
This class will review key concepts that will be on most 5th grade math end of year tests. This class will move quickly as it is intended to be a review. Each class will feature some instruction, and some practice problems for the student to complete. Class #1 will review finding area and perimeter of a square and rectangle. Class # 2 will review traditional multiplication and long division. Class # 3 will review word problems. Class # 4 will teach students which basic measurements are important to memorize. Class # 5 will continue with multiplication and division with decimals. Class # 6 will review fractions, GCF and reducing fractions. Class # 7 will teach how to find LCM and how to change mixed number to improper fractions. Class # 8 will review how to multiply and divide fractions. Class # 9 will review how to add and subtract fractions. Class # 10 will focus on word problems. Reviewing these skills should help you feel more confident starting 5th grade math.
