Description
Class Experience
This class is part of a two-class series that covers 5th grade common core math standards. This class is SEMESTER 2 and covers the second half of the course. I teach via Google Slides and give each student plenty of opportunities to practice each concept. Whenever possible, I allow students to interact with the material through screen share. Each class begins with greetings and quickly moves into the lesson; throughout the lesson, students will practice with several examples, and when time...
Optional additional practice will be provided throughout.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
When time allows, we will practice math concepts with outside resources, such as Boom Learning Cards (interactive flashcards), Blooket, and digital games such as those on Education.com and Mr. Nussbaum.
