Description
Class Experience
In this 16 week flex course, learners will be taught the second half of 5th grade content. ALL content will be taught using Common Core Standards. As a certified elementary teacher, I am very familiar with this material and how to properly plan and teach it. In this second semester course, we will cover a large amount of content. Students will be taught by use of manipulatives, visuals, engaging games/activities, and independent practice. The content that is taught in 5th grade builds on each...
Students will be taught and master each standard listed in the class description.
Learners will be required to submit weekly assignments consisting of practice problems, discussion questions, and quizzes.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learners will be assessed at the end of each week by completing a Kahoot quiz that reviews content taught that week.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
