Class Experience
Circle Time and Calendar are great ways for early elementary aged learners to review math skills and learn about their peers but upper elementary learners usually do not get the same type of experience and interaction. In this calendar type course, your learner will learn and review various 5th grade math skills all revolving around a "number of the day" while building friendships with their fellow learners. Various school supplies will be needed for our lessons such as: crayons, colored pencils, scissors, paper, rulers, and a pencil. I will post a message in the classroom with which supplies will be needed for each week. I will also upload attachments in the classroom for any activities or papers that need to be printed.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is suggested when learners are using scissors.
