Class Experience
I have a Masters Degree in Teaching Mathematics. I have been a Math Teacher for 30 years. My credentials include licenses here in the US and abroad. My Philosophy in Education is, “Student first, Math second.” I instill the love for learning among my students first and foremost.
Homework is not mandatory although students need to practice solving math problems. Practice is a must because Math is a skill subject. Practice sheets are available upon request. Answers key is given during the class for homework checking. I help also with homework provided they are given a day before the meeting. There will be consultation outside of the class free of charge.
1. Whiteboard, whiteboard marker for classwork and recitation. 2. A Math notebook for note taking.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
These platforms are incorporated with the lesson during class time: Zoom Virtual Classroom Activities Education.com Kahoot.it Jamboard We will be sharing screen during the class.
