I am a certified teacher and I've been teaching middle school comprehensive science since 2014 and I taught 5th-grade science prior to moving to middle school. I currently help design activities that support the 7th & 8th-grade curriculum for all of the science teachers. I will be incorporating reading and writing in this science course as well. I have a master's degree in reading and writing, and I am a firm believer in reading and writing in the content area.
Homework will be provided but is optional.
A supply list will be provided before the course begins.
Grades and a certificate of completion are given upon request.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Kahoot and Blooket will be used to play review games throughout the course. Nearpod will be used on occasion in class to present content. Google Drive will be used to share handouts for class. Youtube will be used to share videos in class.
