We will conduct a cotton candy lab/experiment and see how the air around us affects cotton candy.Week 2Lesson 2How Do Scientists Learn?Learn about the difference between investigations and experiments. We will conduct a Pop Rocks candy experiment with soda! I am a certified teacher and I've been teaching middle school comprehensive science since 2014 and I taught 5th-grade science many years prior to moving to middle school. I currently help design activities that support the 7th & 8th-grade curriculum for all of the science teachers and serve as a math and science instructional coach to K-5 elementary teachers. I will be incorporating reading and writing in this science course as well. I have a master's degree in reading and writing, and I am a firm believer in reading and writing in the content area.
