We learn new words early in our life through speaking, reading and writing. But, we don’t always know the why and how. I enjoy teaching grammar to students who have a light bulb moment by looking at reading, new vocabulary, and writing in a new light. We will break vocabulary and writing down into one rule or section and study it in-depth. Once a student begins learning and connecting the dots, they will become fascinated. I am certified to teach beginning and advanced grammar for ESL students. During my time teaching grammar to non-native speakers, I have learned how fascinating our language can be. I have taught hundreds of students but love working with older students. They enjoy finding out why they build sentences and write the way they do.
Student will be given a story to work on outside of class. They can practice their vocabulary and spelling words.
Students will need paper and pens if needed for notes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
