Class Experience

In this class, students will be learning the names of each state in the USA, the capital city of each state, and the location on a map of the USA. Students will read, write, and say each state name, capital city name, and color in on a map of the USA where that state is located. A worksheet will be provided for printing out ahead of class that students will fill in during each class. At the end of each class, students will be playing an interactive online game using one or all three of the...

Student will learn to read, write, spell, and memorize names and locations of each state and state capital in the USA.

I have been teaching/homeschooling for 20+ years. I approach learning with customizing the learning to each student to help them become their best. I live in California, and I have lived in Idaho, and Washington state as well. I love helping student learn about the world around them. I have a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology.

Practice each state and state capital learned during each week to memorize, so that they are prepared for the State Capital bee at the end of the class.
