How to Read a Food Label
- Components of a food label - How labels can be deemed misleading - Food Labeling games/activities - Identifying fact or fiction statements on foods. (activitiy)
  • * Understand the importance of calcium and other essential nutrients. * Identify the 5 food groups and recognize food sources that provide these nutrients. * Discuss common misconceptions about sports nutrition and nutrient timing guidelines. * Learn how to read food labels and make informed choices about food and drink options. * Understand the importance of hydration and how to avoid dehydration.
