Class Experience

Developing effective study habits are an essential skill to a student's academic success. Effective study habits can increase their confidence and self-esteem while reducing test anxiety. If a student struggles with 'how' to study, they may lose the motivation to learn.

We will cover 5 effective techniques that will change students' study habits from an academic weakness to an academic strength. In addition, we will review 6 test taking strategies.

My goal is to help students sharpen their study skills so that they will be able to use these skills throughout their academic career from middle school to college.

Hi! My name is Lori, and I’ve been a teacher for 12 years. Besides my time in the classroom, I’ve spent five years teaching English to ELL students and teaching CogAT classes online. The best part of teaching online is meeting students from all over the world—I hope to see your student in class soon! 🙂
