In this 5-day art camp, I will guide students in drawing and painting each scene pictured. I give them simple easy instructions and draw a fallen umbrella in rain, 2 tier birthday cake with dripping icing, cactus with a lovely pattern pot, slippers on the wooded fence, lighthouse. I break the drawings down into simple lines and shapes and demonstrate how to draw each step of the way. Students will work on their projects along with the teacher. Once we are finished drawing, we will trace the pencil drawing with a permanent marker. Then the students may use watercolor to finish their artwork. For the final step, I like to allow students complete freedom over how they paint which includes choosing their own colors. Most students will need to finish painting outside of class. Week 1: Draw a fallen, patterned umbrella in the rain - Add your imagination about what else is floating around (depending on time or add it later) Week 2: 2 tier birthday cake with dripping icing - Add your imagination and be creative (depending on time or add it later) Week 3: Cactus with lovely pattern pot - Add your imagination and be creative to add patterns (depending on time or add it later) Week 4: Slippers on the wooded fence - Add your imagination and be creative to add anything else (depending on time or add it later) Week 5: Lighthouse - Add your imagination and be creative (depending on time or add it later) Refund policy: “Limited.” Full refund until a week in advance, or within 24 hours of purchase (until class starts). I am a teacher in the United Kingdom with an NVQ3 in CCLD (Children's Care, Learning and Development) and a London Art School Diploma holder. I've worked with preschools, nurseries, and special needs children for the past 13 years, and it's been more than 7 years since I launched my own art club, "Fun at Art Club," which caters to children from nursery to advanced learners and is offered as after-school art classes in several local schools.
My goal is to instil a love of creativity as well as the ability to make mistakes and not let them define us. Don't give up; instead, strive to improve things. I will assist them in forming creative ideas and bringing their vision to life, as well as those who appreciate making their work look professional.
