In this 5-day camp, students will sketch an animal every day. Each class will follow the step-by-step process: 1. They will concentrate on rendering the basic shapes of an animal in line only, then proceed to discover the various relationships between the lines, shapes and proportions of the image. 2. Students will sketch realistic animals using basic shapes and shading techniques. They will gain the basic knowledge about the approach and knowledge about the anatomy of each species. This will train beginners to develop observational drawing skills on the characteristics of different animals.
Paper Pencil (a variety of graphite pencils recommended, but not mandatory) Eraser Blending tools: Toilet paper, tissue, Q-tips or blending art tools
