Certified teacher for Japanese (EC-12), Mandarin(EC-12) and Art(EC-12). I grew up speaking Japanese, Mandarin and Taiwanese, so I have no problem mixing them up to meet your need. Many years of freelance tutoring experience for Japanese and Mandarin have helped me teaching all levels of Japanese including Pre-AP and AP classes at my former employment at a public high school.
Homework Offered
Writing practice for the hiragana learned in class will be sent after each lesson, as well as digital fun review games, to help students practice outside of class time.

Notebook and pencils. It would help for students to have a free Quizlet account made to have access to the flashcard links I will be sending.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:

Parental consent is required for the use of Gimkit.
Learners do not need an account for Gimkit. Gimkit is used for reviewing the newly introduced hiragana, and the students will be sent a link to join the review game together with a game code.

Parental consent is required for the use of Quizlet.
The review materials I will be sending will require each learner to have their own (free or paid) Quizlet account. I will ask for the username on Quizlet so I can include your learner in my class folder for access to the study materials. Quizlet is also used for a check point review at the end of the class when we are not using Gimkit, , and the students will be sent a link to join the review game together with a game code.
