Many years of freelance tutoring experience for Japanese and Mandarin have helped me teaching all levels of Japanese including Pre-AP and AP classes at my former employment at a public high school.

Writing practice for the hiragana learned in class will be sent after each lesson, as well as digital fun review games, to help students practice outside of class time.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Parental consent is required for the use of Gimkit. Learners do not need an account for Gimkit. Gimkit is used for reviewing the newly introduced hiragana, and the students will be sent a link to join the review game together with a game code. Parental consent is required for the use of Quizlet. The review materials I will be sending will require each learner to have their own (free or paid) Quizlet account. I will ask for the username on Quizlet so I can include your learner in my class folder for access to the study materials.
