Spend 5 days drawing and doodling random and silly things with various drawing tools. This camp week will help shake up your artistic skills and preconceived notions of what art can look like.

This class is designed to take you out of your artistic safe space and shake up your skills and ideas surrounding art. Each day, we will make a drawing or a doodle using a different drawing tool. There will be 3 choice prompts to choose from. You can work on one or all three-which is entirely up to you. I will post the 3 prompts onto the screen through screen share, put on some instrumental music, and give you the space to let you explore the work at hand. At the end of class, I will allow time for sharing that day's creations as an option. This is a camp, so talking and chit-chat are very welcome. We are here to create and have fun.

Drawing with Graphite Pencils
Drawing Topic: sock monkey, a giraffe, or a cranky old man. 30 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Drawing with Colored Pencils
Drawing Topics: an iceberg, a narwhal, or a cupcake 30 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Drawing with Chalk or Oil Pastels
Drawing Topics: bugs, a bus stop, or a quilt 30 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Drawing with Markers
Drawing Topics: a mystery box, a bird in the hand, or a prism 30 mins online live lesson

Hi there! My name is Tessa DeForge. I live in the beautiful state of Vermont with my husband, 2 silly dogs and 2 precocious cats. I graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2011 and hold a bachelor's in Art Education.
I am very passionate about education. I have taught in a traditional setting for 10 years as a 6-12 art teacher and as an early educator. I love to teach a multitude of things through art and play. Some of the classes I offer are: Art Social Group, Crochet Club, 1;1 Knitting and Crochet classes, as well as social groups, to name a few. I am always looking to expand on my class list.
