BOOK LIST - Must have your own copy • Because of Winn-Dixie, by: Katie DiCamillo • Bud, Not Buddy, by: Christopher Paul Curtis • Lupe Wong Won't Dance, by: Donna Barba Higuera - Webster's Dictionary for Students, Sixth Edition, Newest Edition - Access to printer to print weekly homework - access to be able to send homework to me privately on Outschool - Sometimes a 2nd device to use Kahoot or Quizlet (I will let you know a head of time) - pen or marker, or something that can be seen on camera - 3 ring binder - loose leaf notebook paper
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Quizlet: Will be used to assess each student for understanding. Just a fun and unique way to check for understanding Youtube: Small 2-4 minute clips to show how to write a paragraph. I will show this on screenshare Google Docs; Students may use this to type their paragraphs or homework. I will screenshare and show students how to use Google Docs
