US Grade 4
This ongoing class will cover the basics of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). We recommend that students who are either entering fourth grade or who have just completed fourth grade enroll in this class. However, if you feel your child is excelling in science and needs a challenge, please feel free to enroll them! This summer class will be a great opportunity to get a head start on fourth science concepts or gain more individualized practice for students who have just completed fourth grade. This class will meet once a week to preview/review science topics with discussions, interactive activities, games, and experiments. Optional, weekly homework will be provided. Answer keys will be posted every Friday so that students can check their work. The topics that will be covered throughout the class can be found in the syllabus. Due to the fact that this is an ongoing class, students can register for just the topics they are interested in or need additional assistance with.
