Description

Class Experience

Students will explore the Fourth Grade Standard Course of Study Topics throughout the year. These include Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Earth Science, and Life Science, and more.
I was a certified Teacher in NC where I taught all four core subjects, ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies, for 1st-5th grades. I received my degree from Ashford University in Iowa and passed all NC state required certification tests for teaching both general education and exceptional/special education in grades K-6. Prior to my teaching certification I was a certified Exceptional/Special Education Teaching Assistant in NC for ELA, Science, and Social Studies for grades 6-8.
While science topics such as Chemistry, Physics, and Biology are introduced and explored at the elementary level they are foundational concepts which focus on introducing these science topics at an age/grade appropriate level and are part of the 4th grade common core essential standards curriculum which I have previously taught for many years in the public school classroom setting.
