🌟Join me as we we discover the wonders of the world through language arts in a private 1:1 class that covers the full fourth Grade curriculum. 🌟Explore beautifully written short stories and biographies, and challenging spelling activities that are contextualized by learning about the different countries where the stories are set. 🌟Dive into exciting topics and discussions, and build a unique and personalized portfolio of writing that you can use afterwards! 🌟By the end of the year learners will confidently achieve excellent 4th grade skills in writing, reading, spelling, and grammar! 🌟Learners will receive personalized feedback and continuous support in class and out. Beginners will be guided step-by-step and advanced students will be challenged so they are actively engaged throughout the lesson. 🌟This is an inclusive classroom environment and learners are welcome to participate in any way they feel most comfortable. All learners are unique and bring their strengths into the classroom. 🌟Students are welcome to join at any time during the year. Lessons are modular. Learners will be provided with everything they need to thrive in class. 🌟 Lessons will typically entail a warm-up, pre-teaching, class discussion then practice. If learners are required to bring materials to the lesson, I will let you know on the class notice board ahead of time. I have been teaching academic literacy for almost twenty years. Over the years I have had the opportunity to teach across the grade spectrum from kindergarten to university students. I believe that an inclusive and supportive classroom environment is important for learning that makes a difference. I look forward to seeing you in the classroom!
