Description

Class Experience

In this course fourth grade students will cover a variety of concepts that include but not limited to: the use of the four math operations to solve real life situations, students will find area and perimeter of rectangles, as well  as learn different geometric concepts. The students will gain an understanding that mathematics builds upon itself as we also review some concepts from the first semester. I will teach using a variety of methods in order to cater to the various learning styles of...

Students will improve their math skills by solving various math problems including problems that involve real life situations.

Homework will be given to review the concepts coverd ( no more than 10 problems).

A spiral or composition notebook would be helpful so that the students will have notes to look back on.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Kahoot
Youtube

Various informal assessments will be used.

1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
