US Grade 4
This is 4th grade half-year curriculum that is aligned with US national standards for the first half of the school year. It would also be great as a review for 4th-6th grade students who need a little extra help or advanced 3rd grade students who want to be challenged. This is a traditional math class taught similar to class at school. Great for homeschoolers too! Contact me if you need a specific time scheduled and I can try to accommodate you! Slides will be taught in textbook fashion with interactive drill/practice features when possible. This is a small group class which could have 1-5 students, but can also be offered as a guaranteed 1:1 with customized instruction if you would prefer. Please contact me for the pricing and information if you would like a customized class created for you. All learners will have many opportunities to practice each skill individually and corrections will be made to ensure comprehension. Participation will ensure understanding. In addition to the live meetings, an independent practice activity can be posted upon request after each meeting so that students can practice learned skills independently if needed. This is from the corresponding workbook listed below. The progression of this class feeds into the next class which covers Book 5A of the Grade 5 Singapore Dimensions textbook. Contact me if you would like this class offered sooner. This class has no minimum for student numbers and it won’t be cancelled for low enrollment.

I have 19+ years of experience teaching Phonics, Early Reading, ESL Reading, Math K-8th grade, Algebra and early intervention small group experience for learners needing accommodations. I also have over 7 years of online group teaching and 1:1 tutoring experience. In addition to my Outschool classes I have taught ESL with VIPKid, math with Splashlearn and provide custom 1:1 tutoring online in Reading and Math. I love teaching!
