Class Experience

This is Part 1 of 4th grade Math. In this class, the students will be learning the standards covered in 4th grade Math. In semester 1 this class will cover place value, add/subtract whole numbers, multiplication, division, patterns, equivalent fractions and factors.  This is a small group 4th grade Math class that will meet once a week for 14 weeks. Students should have completed 3rd grade Math or have tested on the 4th grade level. The goal of this class is for the students to master the standards taught in 4th Grade.

I have my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching Math for 16 years. I am currently a 5th Grade teacher.

Homework will assigned each week. Students should print out the assignment and then upload it to the class page when finished.

Students should keep all class notes in a composition notebook or spiral notebook.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
