Class Experience
This is a flexible course, students will be able to complete the work and receive feedback from me at any point. In this 8 week flexible course learners will be introduced to concepts they will see in a fourth grade classroom. This class is best for learners going into fourth grade, but can also serve as a review for learners going into fifth grade. Students will be introduced to 4th Grade Math concepts.
I have a BA in Elementary Education and working towards an MA in Instructional Leadership. I have five years of teaching experience in the classroom. I have taught all major content areas in kindergarten, second, fourth, and fifth grades.
Students will be provided a mix of digital homework, as well as paper based homework that will need to be either printed, or transcribed to notebook paper. Homework is self-graded by families and an answer key will be provided.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learners will be assessed at the end of each lesson through Google Forms, Nearpod, etcetera. Learners will receive feedback on their submitted work within 48 hours.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Learners will also complete activities through Nearpod, Kahoot, Google Forms, Google Docs, Google Slides, and will be provided videos from YouTube (imbedded into Outschool) for lessons.
