This is a 32-week program that students with 4th grade PA Common Core Math. This program focuses on place value, fractions, decimals, line plots, double digit multiplication, and long division.

US Grade 4
Beginner Level
This is a 32-week program that students with 4th grade PA Common Core Math. This program focuses on place value, fractions, decimals, line plots, double digit multiplication, and long division. There will be six units total for this 32-week program. Learners will meet twice a week for half hour. Learners will be given homework throughout the week but the teacher will easily meet with students outside the class time if needed and given enough notice. Learners will be having a 10-15 minute lecture to introduce the concept and and new skill. The teacher will provided examples and have students work on some examples for the teacher to see of any misunderstanding throughout the learning process. Students will be learning through small group instruction along with some games, video clips (provided with the homework to relearn the concept without the teacher present), and interactive slides.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to understand place values with rounding, comparing, and adding and subtracting.
Students will be able to find equivalent fractions, using models, adding/subtracting fractions, and finding LCM.

Other Details
Learning Needs
From teaching experiences, I have always been an IEP classroom dealing with behavior students to learning disabilities. I am able to accommodate and modify any lesson to students level. I can also help one-on-one when needed.
Parental Guidance
Throughout this course, learners may need access to a google account to be able to participate in class learning. This will allow learners to be able to participate in assignments and games throughout the course.
Pre-Requisites
Learners should have 3rd grade understanding for fractions, place values, addition and subtraction, shapes, and their multiplication and division facts.

Learners will need the following materials to be successful: -pencils -dry eraser markers -white board -Printer (Optional, worksheet will also be available for virtual use as well) -calculator (basic for simple use) -ruler

I am currently a 4th grade teacher in a public school system. I have been teaching 4th grade for 4 years with a heavy case load of IEP students. For the first 2 years, I was only teaching Math and the last two years the school had 4th grade go to self contain which means I teach all the subjects now. Before 4th grade, I was a kindergarten and 1st grade teacher for 4 years. Before my teaching career, I was a summer camp counselor for 10 years and a basketball and soccer coach for the youth.
